Losing Friends

This past week I lost a friend of mine. He was gunned down and murdered. He was a great kid. He had the potential to do or be anything he wanted. Lacking a positive role model in his life pushed him to do things young men should never do. I am sad that I did not get to know him more. The few times we saw each other were good times. We always talked about the past summers we had together. His life was cut too short. If i could talk to the guy that murdered him, i would ask what gave him the right to take someone elses life? I hope the law prevails and that the guy is caught. I can only imagine how Red's family is doing now. I just hope they know god is taking care of him.
